Busy few days weather wise for America, severe storms especially in Ohio and Tennessee valleys and blizzards for the Upper Mid West.

A blizzard will continue to affect portions of the Upper
Midwest during Leap Day 2012 with heavy snow, low
visibility and gusty winds.
Currently, severe storms continue to rattle Kentucky, mainly from the Hopkinsville area to near Lexington and Stanton. The area at risk includes Elizabethtown, Bowling Green, Campbellsville and communities south of Louisville. Western Tennessee will also be in the path of a violent thunderstorms organizing.

Europe comes out of the freezer but flooding is a concern after rapid thaw in places. Also, UK suffering drought as very little rainfall has fallen in places over the last few months and no sign of any significant rain in these areas any time soon.
Melting ice on the Danbube river is causing damage after rapid thaw.
